About
In class, on the field or at the mall; today’s society is always on the go; all of the while staying tethered to
technology. This generation has been raised around technology. Look around the room; simultaneously the television, computer, iPod® and lights are all on; unnecessarily. With a growing population that has been brought up to consume more energy then ever, it is time we all make small steps to change the way we take advantage of the environment.
PNY is challenging high school seniors who attend both public and private high schools and are U.S. residents to conceive an Eco-friendly solution, product, or idea that will help to save the environment using PNY technology; whether it is at your home or school, in your community or even on a national level. Saving the environment has become our social responsibility for the future generations of America.
This eco-friendly experience provides students a venue to connect learning and conservation, while providing inspiration to others to join in the fight for a greener world. The reward for the students’ involvement; in addition to a cleaner world to grow up in, is the opportunity to win scholarship money for continuing their education and a donation from PNY to put your project into action!
PNY is going green too! The average American uses seven trees a year in paper, wood, and other
products made from trees which amounts to approximately 2,000,000,000 trees per year.
